Video Report

So far my group and I have decided on a rough plan of venues, genres, themes and times to shoot the film. We have roughly decided on creating a video on a poker game between students in which the atmosphere is fun, easy going, and comical. So far we have a basic script consisting of a comical side as well as a story within the game. We were hoping to shoot the film with a constant pan moving around the table as they play poker, with all the lights shut off except the light above the table to give it a serious poker game feeling to it even though its hidden behind a comical theme. However the way we have decided to create it would allow each individual to edit the video specifically they way they want it. We have found it difficult to come out with a final script to the video, as well as the final lighting and positioning. However after a couple more meetings this shall be complete and the scene should be ready for shooting.
